Bendum is located at the eastern part of the Upper Pulangi watershed in the northern part of the Pantaron Mountain Range. It is a village consisting of about 300 inhabitants.

 The Bukid’non-Pulangiyen is a group of indigenous people whose ancestry dates back to the early part of the 19th century. This nomadic group, who subsist mostly by hunting and gathering, live along river systems situated in the forest of Mindanao.

 The Bridging the Gap documentary film, was produced by ESSC in cooperation with Jesuit Communications (JesCom). It took a week of shooting and five months of post-production to finish the film.
